Gaydon Festival of Transport

As I mentioned in the grin thread, yesterday I went to the newly-renamed and reopened British Motor Museum in Gaydon. It was one of their event days, the Festival of Transport, a general show featuring classic cars, emergency vehicles and military vehicles - there wasn't a huge number of cars there, probably 20-30 as there are so many other events on this weekend, but a few things of interest. All of these photos are of visiting vehicles and I'm not going to include the contents of the Collection Centre as I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't been yet - suffice to say there is some epic chod in there. For the benefit of those wanting to visit during the Shitefest weekend, Gaydon is about 30 miles from Buckingham, an easy drive through Brackley and Banbury.

Anyway, that's enough waffle. Have some pics.

The words of Herr Junkman came to mind when I saw this. "It's fucked", no wait, the other one

Please post them just put a warning. There are scenes which some viewers may find distressing  :-D

I think I've still got tickets to get into Gaydon as they do the re-entry for a year, hopefully enough has changed that I might tootle down.

Thanks for the photos though, feel free to post more of the collection!

That G-plate R8 looks like one of the first, and on a Birmingham reg too - wonder if it was a Rover press fleet car?

By popular demand I will post some from the collection once I get them uploaded. I don't think Flickr can cope with such a large quantity of BL tat as the uploader has stopped working - when it's not falsely blaming the problem on my internet connection every photo either times out or is supposedly 'invalid'.

It has fuzzy logic built in, when you try and upload photos of BL products it goes on strike.

Never seen that one there. The last 75 is in the Collection Centre though.
