Plans to go to ikea and buy some long narrow wood in boxes with some screws?

Want to wow the neighbours into thinking you're an accountant?

Want to drive a blue Saab 9-5 from Sheffield to wherever you live, and then hopefully beyond?

Presenting my Saab - I bought it to fill a gap and did 3500 miles in 2 months and now it's just sat here cos I have 4 cars and can only afford to insure 3 of them at the min. Spent £200 on the essential Saab 9-5 jobs (sump drop/strainer clean/newest sort of crank breather thing) in the first week so it wouldn't immediately shit itself, so it should basically work indefinitely now with oil changes. Makes a few odd noises and the indicators sometimes go off for a min once you've locked her (with the fob, doesn't do it with the key - I assume the alarm thing that plagues these but you just disconnect the alarm siren and get on with life which I assume has already been done as it doesn't make any alarmy noises. Battery holds out fine though!).

Much better nick than my shabby x-type that inexplicably sold in a couple of days on t'bay.

FSR no one seems to want it. MOT til next feb. Big ol' history folder of receipts.

Full boring details on ebay, price in title assumes decent shiters discount. She's in Sheffield. Tax til tomorrow or whatever the new rules mean.

Anyone? I thought it was cheap at what I paid for it in March tbh but that was £490, and tbh the fact I still have it proves I was wrong. Ugh. Stupid cars.

He did arrive with a mate, in a green 940 se turbo with a manual bost controller. Had a good long chat about crap cars I've owned and gradually felt really old as they were clearly of a slightly later generation, but they both left happy, I think. Car-knowledge volvo mate let on that purchaser's social circle had a sweepstake on how long it would be before his £300 quid car imploded or exploded or similar. I think the longest was under a month, so fingers crossed for him. Uncommonly enjoyable sale (apart from losing a load of money on it, obv), and they were even relatively kind about my horrible Renner and MGHGF.
