12v power socket

I would like to fit one to the Toledo for Prat Nav and so on, I am trying to find one complete with a bracket to fit but they all seem quite cheap and nasty on eBay.

 

Anyone know of a good sturdy, decent quality one?

Does your Sat Nav run from USB?

USB sockets are easier to hide, the conversion from 12v to 5v can be done behind the scenes rather than a huge plug dangling out of the dashboard. Quote often they'll fit into a switch blank or something.

If it has a USB socket the other end you can lob that away though, that's what I've done with my dash cam. Came with a HUUUGE cag lighter power source but that just drops 12v to 5v and has a Micro USB port on the end.

 

I just have two USB ports dangling in the glovebox that I wired into the fuse box on a switched live, but you could araldite them into a switch blank
