mk1 focus shite idle ?

Mine feels to idle 50-100 revs too low when warmed up, turning the air con on makes it a bit worse but it has never stalled.

 

How are your ignition leads? I replaced mine recently which seemed to improve things a bit but they're not cheap for genuine Ford parts.

 

I've seen suggestion on the net that the air pipe from throttle body to airbox should have O rings and, if missing, the idle can be weak. Anyone seen these? Mine doesn't have them (2003 1.6 petrol).

anyone know what reset the cam means , and would an ebay diagnostic jobbie do that?

 

been suggested that it might be the prob , but dont know much about the diags
