Surely no credible car manufacturer would design doors with such thick window surrounds as those.

Are the doors fibreglass? Thick sections are where it's at if you want a fighting chance of it keeping shape

It looks like it would be a lot less stable than a Reliant designed 40 years ago, isn't that a bad thing?

Another 'leccy machine, this one however has a longer range and can be fitted with an optional diesel engine.

MEGA are a subsidiary of Aixam. They have, however, made some far more sensible machines in the past, such as this:

It's called the MEGA Track, and it was powered by a 6-litre Mercedes V12, driving all four wheels through an autobox. It had height-adjustable suspension and was designed for desert raids and the like. The picture doesn't give a very good idea of the scale of the thing, but if memory serves it was well over 5 metres long, weighed two and a quarter tonnes and did about 9 mpg. A much better prospect than a silly little plastic electric delivery van IMHO.

I'm amazed it's that big - looks very much like a Venturi to me, which I'm sure was quite a compact sports car. Not that I have ever seen one in the GRP, of course...

Well that MEGA is a full four-seater if it helps. That's four seats and then a mid-mounted 6-litre V12. It's not a small car.Edit: just looked the dimensions up on t'Internet.L: 5080mmW:2250mmH: 1400mmWeight: 2280KGTyres: 285/55 ZR 20 front, 325/50 ZR 20 rear

Wasn't that G Wiz thing discredited in some crash test recently when basically it disintegrated?
