Wanted - Interesting 80s Jap coupe! Celica/Starion etc

Hi all

 

Right Ive recently Sold off an S14 nissan and am breaking another as the project just wasnt happening LOL, so I am now on the lookout for a toy for the summer!

 

I'm still looking for Jap really as thats my thing (I have a KE70 Corolla too) but I want to go a bit more retro with my "fast car" this time!!

 

I'm looking for an 80s or early 90s sporty RWD Jap Coupe with either a big engine or maybe a turbo or supercharger etc! A bit of grunt anyway!

 

Ive looked at and considered the following so far.............

 

FC Series 2 RX7 (I looked at a Convertable too recently)

Celica Supra

Wide Bodied Starion turbo (particularly like these)

etc etc

 

 

Anything you may have simular let me know as I may be interested

 

I have about £3500 to play with max really but I may be able to stretch a little for the right car!

Being a Starion owner, I'd say go for the Celica Supra. They don't seem to have a lot of problems in their lives, whereas Starions have stupid niggling little problems that affect most of the cars.

Hmmmmm What problems do the Starions have then??I really wanted one of them And as for that old Skyline.......... The owner has already spoken to me but the car is a Cat C or D Write off and needs a lot of work and parts!!I want a car that i can drive right away!!
