Decent quality tape stereo to swap for any old rubbish

My latest acquisition has come fitted with a 90s tape player and four speakers. Does anyone fancy a swap for something more 70s/ 80s, it doesn't have to be superb quality and I don't need any speakers. And apologies if there is already a swaps thread but I couldn't find one. There is a pic of the interior with the stereo in in my collection thread.

Not up for swaps, but I've got a few 80s Alpines you could buy for £several.

1987 Alpine 7143L. Works. I don't have a cage or a surround, mind. £30 posted?

Thanks but still a bit modern looking for what I am after, not even fussed if it has a tape as will probably barely ever use it.

That's more like it but needs to be super cheap really, or swap for nice one and speakers ;-)

I have another one with a Austin Rover logo on it; same model, just branded.

What's the head unit and what are the speakers?

Speakers are sharp - squareish parcel shelf mount type, pioneer - oblong twin speaker type, parcel shelf mount again,

Head unit is a clarion ax523r

Anyone want to buy the stereo for a very modest sum? Or sell me an old stereo for a modest sum?

I have a Vauxhall / Philips head unit from a 1992 Cavalier 1.8L which MUST have been standard on launch of the mk3 in 1989.  You can have it. I even know the code.

Thanks for the offer, it's very kind, but I am looking for something more 70s to fit in my new dolomite, I don't even care if it works. Would be good if it did but not that fussed.
