carlo Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I'm having an issue with the exhaust on my new 405 which is starting to get annoying. The exhaust on it has caught on a couple of uneven surfaces since I got it, especially the downward slope into Fatha_Carlo's place and a particularly sharp humpback bridge near me which meant it had to be replaced as I'd either buggered it or made it worse (around the centre-piece/cat join). Have noticed all the while that it seems to hang a good deal lower than the blue one's, so I mentioned this to the exhaust place and was confidently assured that when done it would go back to its right position. Well I now have a new exhaust which is in exactly the same position, hanging what looks like a good 3 inches lower than the other one and is going to be just as prone to grounding. Exhaust place reckon it's all fitted properly and don't appear bothered to take it any further so what's going on here. Have tried to photograph both cars from the ground which isn't easy Blue car: Silver car: Any ideas?
omegod Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Get bigger wheels Somethings not right there at all ! maybe an OE exhaust is needed
Felly Magic Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Cheap pattern exhausts that aren't the right shape perhaps?
fordperv Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 ^ this is probably the answer, we used to get some right fuckups concerning fit pattern exhausts when I was in parts a few years back
