big bottle .. saturated !

Don't stop mid wipe ... Wipe it  fast and leave it . if its not cleared ,wait before doing it again .

I tried this on my Mondeo reflector (just removed for a new one) - and it was pretty effective, so thanks for the top tip (pic below). Had to buy the thinners - and did about 4 runs over this using about a quid's worth.

I like the look of these. One popped up for sale about half a mile from me yesterday.post-5582-0-62079200-1456657333_thumb.jpg

They're after £550 with very short mot.

Mot history check says it failed last year on suspension prescribed area corrosion both sides so presumably has had some welding done.

I should resist the urge but might go for a look later...

Been at this doing wee jobs.

Oil change - no bother.

Oil filter change - total dick of a job.

Fortunately Brother in law has one of those three legged things goes on a socket extension bar and grips the end of the filter because thats about the only way to get at it, tucked up under the inlet between block and bulkhead. The old one that came off was rusted almost right through so whoever did the servicing previously obviously thought it too much of a cock of a job.

Headlights polished up fine with toothpaste - no celly thinners to be found in the garage. Ordered a set of tyres for it and a new battery too.
