In general, what do you most dislike about modern cars?

Still can't work out why all versions of Rover's 75 weren't proper (rear) wheel drive, the design lent itself and by the very nature of the car when new it was aimed at a traditional market who mostly prefer PWD anyway.

BMW were too worried that their own cars would be undermined - in the same way, they never sold the MGF in The States because of their Z-car.

I look under the bonnet of most WRD (wrong wheel drive) cars and swiftly close the bugger up again.

Because while it's styled as a Rover, it's really an Austin if we're honest.   Longbridge has been designing and building wrong-wheel-drive cars there since 1959.  I own one, but I think of it as a descendant of the Austin 2200 landcrab rather than of the Rover P4/P5/P6.

I call it my Austin A75.  At least it doesn't have hydragas suspension.
