£650-£750 for a 205td with no history?

Think that's hopeful unless it's mega low miles. Looks lovely though. I'd certainly pay UP TO FOR HUNDRED POONDS blind.

Salty for something unknown, with no ticket.

Lot 1928 Description

1968 Triumph Herald 13/60 Convertible

Reg. no. LAM 367F

Chassis no. GE10786CV

Engine no. GE11004E

Estimate: £500 - 800

Condition Report or Notes

This Herald has been owned by the present owner since August 2002. The MOT expired in 2005 and since then various works have been carried out whilst the car has been dry stored including a replacement distributer, upgraded ignition coil and HT leads and also front stainless flexi brake hoses. It is offered with two tonneau covers, one of which requires a new zip. The car has a replacement fibreglass front valence and three spare wheels. This Herald also benefits from having an overdrive gearbox. Inside the seats are original and the cockpit has been sound proofed, with the rear interior panels being replaced now incorporating speakers. We are advised that the car would benefit from a full overhaul; the engine turns over freely but doesnt start. In the file are the original handbook, service schedule and a V5c.

If this sells within estimate it could be a bargain, (or a money pit, heads or tails).
