If only everything in life was as dependable as a Rover.

(okay, it had to be pushed into the hall, but it was someone else's fault for making me idle until the fuel pump overheated)

I've asked the organisers to change the faerie lights - they said visitors like them.

Meanwhile, my camera has a fit.

I must admit, I quite like the twinkly lights in the carpeted section.

Couple more from the Rallying With Group B boys.

Renault 5 Maxi was too laggy for the rallycross and ended up snapping its driveshaft during the very last run.

MG ZR had the legs on most of the other cars (MSA regs mean it wasn't timed, but it looked quick) and was allegedly the last ever rally car produced by X-Power Racing.

V8 Firenza had an entertaining lack of traction and frequently spun.

Only having an 18-55 lens meant I had to get rather close to the Evolution IV tripod to get this shot; the marshals weren't that impressed and told me to step back.

Mexico lost its gears and had to be reversed back into the pit area.

Outdoor photography continued.

Using the company jet pack, I then got some overheads before being told off by the EventCity management.

Rainy City Cruisers had some lovely tin, from a C2 Sting Ray via a Biarritz and early Camaro.

I adore Unipower GTs, and the Mini Cooper Register had one on display. The Mini Minor behind was a very late MkI with 271 miles on the clock.

Before and after Kestrels on the Riley Owners' Club stand.

Because that was worth an entire repost?

I think it was worth a repost to see the Renault 5, firenza and the escort again

That A55 MK1 was sweet! There was another one on the Rochdale club stand, not bad considering how rare they are. The only other Austin of that era inside the show was my Somerset. No Maestros though :(
