Station Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 There is a red mk3 Fiesta in HK Breakers in Clwyd/Wales/Wrexham. There's not a speck of rust on it, even on the front valance. Worth the journey for the amount of old 80's Fords in there.

lisbon_road Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Recommend Richard Noon car spares. Good prices, friendly, not a huge stock area mind. Otherwise try the on line delivery places, like www.1stchoice.com (I think that is right). I got an Astra rear beam delivered for £60 once. Sodding big parcel.

I used them for a rear beam on my then OH's 206, being French there was at least four types and after I got sick wondering round scrappies looking at the wrong type I tried online. The cost wasn't too bad, my boss about flipped his lid through when the courier dumped it in the office reception on two oily pallets. More amazingly I managed to get this lot into my Punto to get it home even though I had to drive sitting on the edge of the driver's seat. Lacquer Peel 1
Philyc Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 On close inspection, the rear beam need replacing. The front bodywork under the bumper os all bent and the front right wheel is pointing right when it should be straight. Unsure as to next step, am worried that repairing it is going to take alot of money what with the steering being potentially f**ked. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
catsinthewelder Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Aren't the sad face Fiestas more or less the same underneath? You could probably get a complete one for £50 with the current scrap prices and swap the bits over before bridging the remains. sierraman 1
Philyc Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 I thought that too. Bit ive been told the rear beam from the mk4 wont fit mine. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
