Just been into Aldi and they've got a litre of their own brand direct to rust/ underseal paint for £5. Options are white, grey, black and snot green.

They've also got enamel metal paints, angle grinders for £20 with cutting discs and flap wheels, rotary sanders, wrenches and toolboxes.

Is that the Baufix stuff?  (Or something that sounds similar)?  If so, I bought three 1 litre tins last time they had them- in black, white and silver/ grey.

Only used the white so far (I painted the wheels on my Defender) but it's great stuff for the £4.99 I paid.

I bought black - last tin of same in any south Tipp outlet - tis great stuff - lashed it all over the new sills on the drivers side of my Discovery...

Be warned - if yr painting it on seam sealer, even with lots of primer ontop; it takes about 3 days to harden fully ...

I painted my Polo's battery tray after welding it with the grey Aldi Metalcare paint 2 years ago, these are notorious water traps but it's holding up great.

So it's good stuff, then? I'll look out for it on my next visit.
