They have always had a bit of a "chocolate coin" taste to them but I think they have got a bit greasier lately. I feel I can speak with some authority now I know I've been eating them since the start.

I'm sure they used to be made of much harder chocolate than the waxy stuff that you get now. I remember them being quite difficult to bite into when they first came out - although I would have had a smaller mouth then, and quite possibly different teeth!
