Can anyone identify this mag?

I would really like to know what mag this is so I can find a better copy of these 2 pages (i.e. so I can see the police land rover picture much better).

 

A friend of mine said it looks like Motor mag ,week ending 3 Nov 1978.

I don't think its Motor, more likely to be Autocar or possibly What car (judging by the fonts used) I can't give you a valid reason for that stab in the dark, but I do have most issues of 1970's motor magazine so could check when I go back to my folks. But I would loved to have been chased by that 2 litre Colt Sigma in my Carina.

It's one of the weeklies, so not What Car. I reckon MOTOR may be right. In fact I may have this mag somewhere in the loft - buried under another 1,000 I expect - as I remember reading the article in the last couple of years. It would take me ages to look through due to my haphazard storage and I can't be sure I still have the mag (probably sold it on eBay some time ago!), sorry.

What day does a week end on? I'm trying to work out if it is 1978 or 1979.According to Gaydon, my land rover left the factory on the 8th December 1978. I strongly suspect the one in the picture is the one built along side mine, meaning I would be suprised if the date of the mag is 1978.

It says either September or November 1979 in the corner if that helps to narrow it down

I think it would be '79 rather than '78 too. I'm pretty sure Motor's "week ending" day was a Wednesday or Tuesday, rather than the Sunday or Friday you'd expect.
