Absolute bliss. I think my dream job would be to simply scout around the French countryside and photograph tat.

How much, and when can I pick it up (same for the VF2)?

My lottery fantasy revolves around a hiab truck to drive around Europe, scooping cars up with a bit of the ground/shed it's on/in and then a big barn with a glass roof and an apartment built on top of it.

Posted

seen the french film taxi, since apartment & garage combo would be perfect but needs to hold maybe 50 cars :twisted:

rubbed down, quick blow over, some skimmed the bad bits, rubbed it down again, will tape up the rest of the screen tommorrow (weather being sunshine as planned) and it'll be totally green

it's never going to be mint but would like it kinda straight lookin'

Some quality painting going on there...

I just clocked the "RL Motors" sticker in the rear window - they're a longstanding non-franchised dealership in Newbury. That Monty's a long way from home!

Fair play to the effort you're putting into it but I've never understood why people will waste energy on taping up numberplates rather than getting the screwdriver out and removing them!! I hope the French plates aren't smaller in size...
Posted

no sadly we will have to go to the new plate system so will lose the black/white/painted old style plates

yay managed to get a top afternoon in and plenty down :D

gone abit darker than planned but it is still green, roof to be done in satin black (poss the bonnet too but undecided)

Hello VW powered! Saw your Mk5 on the transit forum. The paint bloomed and went matt cos of the damp, had the same problem with the bullion van. If you want it to be shiny, wait till the weather gets warmer. Looking good though.
