Looking for shite in all the wrong places...

I walk past this one most days.

This one, I haven't seen before.

And Marvin is lurking, as ever, now with stylish badge.

No Volvos? I had an idea that they were quite popular cars in Portlandia, mostly because the internationally-renowned Ovlov specialists IPD are based there.

I really need to visit the city one day, as it appeals to my sensibilities *wag*

Nice spots. I really need to move to the states, I'd give anything to live there.

Marvin the 5th Ave looks great!

I'd love to live in Oregon or Washington, or failing that, British Columbia.

I'd be happy anywhere in the US really but, living in a desert in a trailer seems to really appeal to me!!

Loads and loads. I nearly snapped a federal-spec 240 sedan, but meh, they're EVERYWHERE. Like Subarus. If I see an interesting one I'll get it - there was a green 244DL, I wonder if it's the one I parked near at OMSI a couple of months back.

I'd love to live in New England, but the winters would do me in :(

Alaska is meant to be a stunning place, I've never been myself but apparently some of the scenery in the remote places is amazing. Don't know what it'd be like living with that sort of cold most of the year or the weird daylight hours but I'd be willing to give it a try!

Back on topic, I really like the US spec Volvo 2/7 series. The headlights look brilliant compared to ours. When I had my 740 I tried to find a set of US headlights for it, just to be different!

I feel the cold quite acutely, but I find it easier to warm up after being very cold than to cool down after being very hot; I really suffered when I visited Florida in May 2012 :(

In the early 1990s, a teacher at my secondary school had an early 1980s Canadian-spec 245 for some unknown reason. I thought that the quad headlights looked really cool :)

I like warm weather and the sun. I utterly hate rain with a passion, which is why I hate living in this country!

My spotting goal is to see a 780. Better yet, buy one ;)

Texas would be rather good. Anywhere where there aren't too many bible bashers.

I hated Texas though that was mainly living in Houston*, Texas Rent-a-Wreck supplied us with some fine examples of veeehicles but we founf and lusted after an Morris 1000 imported form Enfield as it was so inappropiate except for it's maximum speed.

*other parts of Texas are available
