Will, great to meet you - I enjoyed the short* chat and having put lights out in neighbouring towns trying to work out French wiring colour codes on that compressor, Northern Electric say their teams are finished re-insulating the pylons and replacing all the sub-station fuse wire. Loved your 205, especially the way you don't have to use the steering wheel to get through corners - it's how it used to be done in the great ol' days of rear wheel drive. The engine feels like it has lungs the size of an elephant, along with the pulling power. Your personality's written large right through it, which only autoshiters and millionaires can afford when they order/make a car.

 

At least we can say my stately drive (thanks - greatly enjoyed) was partly on private roads, which is obviously where I broke the speed limit and caused a local smokescreen, leaving all the crops covered with a light layer of veg dust. I didn't look to see if that cyclist was coughing on our return stage - was he ok?
