Trackers for your pride and joy vehicle (others types are available)

Being as how these things, which send their location when asked to your mobile device,  are now in the sub £30 Auoshiters range has anyone bought /installed/used any of these vehicle, car, bike, truck,dog(I kid you not) as there seem to be several different generic types.  If you have then which type and how difficult was it and does it work??

Companies who supply/maintain 'chip&pin' terminals - swap out when they break - are using secure document bags to ensure no tampering (when in transit) & the bag has a tracker inside.

Plain black block size of two 20ciggy cartons.

I have this type from Amazon.

 

 

Must be coming up to 3 years powered continuously and still working, I tried it the other day to keep the old simcard active and found I hadn't done so in 7 Months, still happy to tell me I was in Asdas carpark living the dream.

Give some thought to where to secrete it, there's a box and an aerial on the end of leads, GPS and cellphone antennas, see if you can locate these somewhere like around the tail lamps or rear parcel shelf, anywhere not sheilded by metal should help with reception, and locatiing these at the vehicles extremities might just give a chance against a thieving bastard with a signal jammer.
