Getting an Astra back on the road

Someone coming for it on Monday, and also weird internet warrior on Retro Rides keep signing up under new names and trolling my for sale threads because I wouldn't sell him my Hilux last year. Either way, I still sell them without any problems.

Noticed the engine doesn't have a power steering pump or mount. Think I have an 8v one that fits, just need a mount. Another trip to the scrap yard!

Also, gearbox doesn't fit the clutch. I forgot to take it off the Saab engine I sold. DAMN IT! It was 120 quid!

 

Just briefly worked out what I've spent on the Astra so far (not including stuff I'll have to get for the frigger):

Also weighing up this - I got Nova/Corsa conversion suspension/driveshafts and mounts for a C20XE, and I have a Corsa and a spare F20 gearbox. All I'd need is another C20XE! Why shouldn't I do this!!
