Renault 25 - One of Your Better Decisions

I've had my first thing go wrong with it already. The rear OS tyre needed pumping up so walloped it up to 35psi seeing as it was only at 10 and will be sitting for a while, went in the garage before leaving for PoL today and it was nearly flat. WTF is going on there? But I suppose that could happen to anything, not just 30 year old French tat.

I think it needs to be white

Yay! I'm not completely mental!

Re air escapage... if the wheels need re-furbing as you said, then pressure is likely coming out from under the flakey paint. A tyres off job to sort, but it can be done at home with minimal materials and a few free evenings.

Thanks Joe, I should have just left it alone for now as atleast it had some air in it rather than none. I'll get them shot blasted and professionally redone when fund allow as they'll set the car off a treat then.

Alloy refurb a good idea. Is it a knackered valve perhaps? Lob a bit of spit over the top of the valve, it will show any leaks there straight away. Old trick but still valid.

Just been out and spot on Ken, valve is knacked. So I'll get me one of those pin removal tools and hopefully just a new one will fix it.
