Old Radio Decode

Recommended Posts

There is a philips car radio in my new 305, i tried to turn it on but it says code, it came with the original handbook codecard (with nothing written down reffering to what the code might be) even the radio code stickers still in their original packaging and not stuck on the windows.

I'm sure it was this generation of Phillips stereos ,particularly in Vauxhallls that people*reckoned could be reset by leaving overnight in the freezer.

Probably bollocks and I've no idea of the science behind this theory, or for that matter ever actually spoken to anyone that's tried it. Yet.

Probably an urban myth but....... placing it in a microwave for 5 seconds is reputed to clear it.
