A bloke in Croatia has been nicked after stealing 30 Fiat Unos - from Yahoo news'Police in Croatia have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of stealing no less than 30 humble Fiat Uno cars for joy rides in the past three months. The suspect, whose name was not disclosed, was nabbed in the Karlovac region, 50 kilometres (30 miles) south of the capital Zagreb, appropriately at the wheel of a Uno, said police spokeswoman Aleksandra Ljuba."Drivers of Fiat Unos can now put their hearts at ease," she said.Under questioning, the suspect acknowledged stealing 30 Unos, mostly in Zagreb, since September, abandoning them in parking lots or alongside highways once they ran out of petrol.'True Uno nutter. Have to say, I have quite fond memories of them, they were always quite eager to rev, and the styling was much better than the blobby Punto replacement. Also they were the first Fiat that lasted more than about 7 years bodywork wise.
