Reporting live from Italy...some spots

Currently on vacation in Italy, few days in Rome, then down the coast to Positano before the last couple of days in Florence.

 

Anyway here's some spottage. Mrs DF thinks I'm mad taking pictures of old cars rather than the colosseum.

Love the Autobianchi and the 126

 

The Italians had a thing for Rover 800 coupes if the 'Car' of the era was to be believed. IIRC Italy, Spain and Portugal where MGR's best export markets near the end (albeit in fairly tiny numbers. Expats would have played a part for Iberian sales)

My Aunt lived in Florence and always said that Rovers were seen as a very desirable car over there.

In Rome, get a decent shot of a Chrysler 300 badged up as a Lancia, my pictues of them were all pants.

I'm in Florence now and this city is rich as there's no shite to see. I did manage to snap these though. Headed back to Rome today for one last evening.

Right let me wrap up this thread with my final few spots. I'm back in the "land o' the free" now although my luggage has failed to make the trip with me and is currently MIA.
