Derby Locals - Albert Looms?

Is Albert Looms a "wander around and see what takes your fancy" yard or is it a "stay in our nice warm office drinking 'coffee' at 20p a pop until we bring you your part" yard?

 

They've got an MG F. I've got an MG F that needs a starter motor, drivers door lock and a gear lever gaiter. I also just fancy a wander around a traditional scrappy with the boy to show him how real men live - worth going there?

It's a wander round yard. I always tend to make my presence known to staff though to save walking round like a gimp for a car that they haven't got. They are alright with tools too,actually Ave a big tool chest in the parts reception to use with a sign politely asking to return them.

They are helpful with lifting up or tilting cars over to get underneath too.

Current Contract at Rolls Royce on Raynesway is about a 1/2 mile away as the crow flies or 1.8 miles if you not a drone..

Cheers for the offer Pod but I'll probably just pootle up there anyway, don't delay your weekend! I quite like wandering around a decent yard. I've got to be in Mansfield at some point so can drop in on way back.

Same offer here, I only live 10/15 minutes away depending on traffic so I can pop down. I may have to go fetch a Box for the vectra. 75 quid with 30 day return if faulty
