Techno Classica Essen

Myself and a friend with more highbrow motoring tastes are mulling over visiting Techno Classica this year.

 

Anyone been?

 

Is there anything of interest to a Shitter?

 

Any tips for accommodation / travel would be appreciated.

I've been twice and it's absolutely brilliant. Check this topic out for my findings from this year's show.

 

With regards to travel, this is Autoshite so you MUST drive there in a £300 snotter, running on veg oil. It's a fairly long way along dull motorways, so unless you live pretty close to Dover you will probably be better off booking a nice, quaint B&B somewhere in Flanders and driving to Essen for the day.

At the moment plans are fluid. As I live in Devon, I was thinking of flying Exeter to probably Amsterdam and taking the train.

 

I hang my head in shame admitting this, it's just not the shitters way.
