Spent much of the afternoon fettling this whilst Swampy21 was at work. The collection highlighted a few problems including buggered heaters and no front marker lights.

Good news; Inoperative markers fixed with new bulbs and handbrake adjusted so it no longer comes up to armpit level. Heaters are now toasty warm.

Bad news; Heater tap isn't connected to heater control so can't be changed without scrabbling about in the footwell. Interior is still utterly disgusting in places and needs disinfected/exorcised.

The Big Red Brick will be departing the car park in the morning for a short jaunt to the "family muckanick" who will then proceed to hoist it into the air and check the undergubbins................

Also may check heaters for me and highlight anything we missed on the collection.

So far, if all we've found (Heaters, Handbrake, Wipers, Markers and cosmetic disasters) is all that's wrong with it, then I'm cooking with gas!

All that will then remain is to get rid of the smell of Old Giffers pipe smoke and soggy doggy!

G101 is great, but i'm always wary of using it in car interiors.needs to be quite diluted!

Go for valetpro enzyme odor eater, it kills bacteria and cleans. I have a old MK4 golf for a while stank of damp dog, this stuff cleaned it up and it does not return.
