kinkersaab Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Pretty sure the same car made is way up to aberdeenshire and was then quickly banged on ebay again. A mate has just texted asking if my antique gold alegro was abandoned in a layby in perthshire, seems new owner hasnt made it home.....is it any one here who bought it?
drum Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Not me. One is enough! Which direction was it going? Might be the one Foad had.
kinkersaab Posted November 17, 2014 Author Posted November 17, 2014 I got the impression it wasnt going in any direction. Good point, im guessing it muat have been coming north.....so poss not the one i thought it was......
HH-R Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Round here, if you break down in a layby, you KNOW your car will be torched by the next day, I hope the same fate doesn't happen to this Allegro.
nisfan Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 its not antique gold its antique sick coloured
UmBongo Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 My Mum had a maroon Allegro. It leaked oil and then the engine imploded. I liked it though.
oman5 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Dibs on the displacers units and front wings if anyone's passing said layby with a gas axe scruff 1
DodgyBastard Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 And the winner of best car in the show goes too... by srblythe, on Flickr Was it that one? I sold it to a guy from Aberdeen/Peterhead. I drove it up there months ago, he gave me £750 for it, he washed it then put it on ebay for £1200. No-one bought it so he put a starting price of £300, it sold for £430 and apparently the buyer didn't make contact, it then went up for sale again, buy it now at £1500 with free delivery to anywhere in the UK...
kinkersaab Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 Aye, that was the one i thought of. My mate just saw an old gold alegro and thought it mine. . I had to check the shed to see mine was still there.
