The "A" and number Aldi model names just make me think of office paper, which gets me about as excited as the cars.

 

Yes... But it's back to front - imagine the small base model named A8 and the high flyer titles A1...

It's a good thing Audi don't do a supercharged 0 as A0K would look a bit silly.
