Classic car prices

I love old ford's and own a couple and the omgosfRStax tax is peeing me right off, fair enough my cars are worth more now than when I bought them, what upsets me though is how cars are getting out of the reach of the people who the cars were originally aimed at and most of the cars out there never get driven and enjoyed like they should because they have become an investment rather than something to drive

 

Sad but very true. Esp. with Fords etc which were the working man/everyman's cars, as you say, now so often out of reach.

Those Saab 9-5's are an interesting car, I'd love to hear about the ownership experience, it must require a bit of effort in the AS style. Stick a thread up about it!!!! I'd love to read it.

Seconded - when the day comes that I have need for a sensible modern motorway car, those are high on the list.
