Scirocco values!?

My Scirocco was great, apart from part of the clutch pedal pulling itself through the bulkhead once, making it very difficult to get home. The right hand drive ones seem to have been converted as cheaply as possible.

 

Alarmingly, it also made me a suspect in a murder trial. Apparently, some poor chap was stabbed and a bronze Scirocco was seen in the area at the time. The police ended up tracking down every one in the country, but mine had been sat ignored for about a year by then and looked neglected enough to get me off the list.

Oh yeah, I'd imagine every bulkhead in every scirocco has been fixed by now. Mine had a beautiful* lump of pig iron glued over the problem.

Ahh the clutch cable through the bulkhead trick. Really uncomfy to weld up too with the centre seat runner in the middle of your guts as you like on the floor looking up behind the dash

I just spotted this over on SRF, and if I didn't have one already I'd be very tempted.

It's got most of the mods done that I'd want, larger brakes, 4 branch manifold, but the biggie for me is 2l 8v engine with the injection system.
