My infrequent spots

I've had a few spots lately so though I may as well do a thread. Annoyingly, most of the really good stuff I always see when I'm driving. In fact Sunderland seems to be a hotbed of Old School Ford including a minty MK1 Granada and a similarly mint looking beige Onion with brown bumpers I followed for a bit the other night. I also spotted a nice looking SD1 the other night, too.

 

Anyway, on with the pictures...

 

I actually really liked this.

 

 

R21 Turbo! Sadly this one turned out crap as my phone is just useless in low light. I used to live round the corner from a guy who has always driven these. In fact this one may even be his, as it looks very similar. In fact I think there are at least two R21 turbos in Washington, funnily enough.

 

 

Tidy looking Scirroco.

 

 

This looked beautifully shabby in the metal. I also noticed on the way out it was driven by a rather attractive young blonde, too - and not a beard or pipe in sight.

 

 

And this MGB was far away ...

 

 

In Gateshead a few weeks ago. Mmmm, brown.

And a few bays up - this! It looked to be in very nice nick. Mentioned it to the old man and he said he'd seen it earlier on being driven about by an old boy.

 

 

Spotted this at work the other week. A definite case of hated them when they were new but wouldn't mind one now.

 

 

This was lovely and Jeremy Clarkson talks out of his bottom.

And just today - this. Not everyone's cup of tea, I grant you, but it was the reg that caught my eye - H-reg? Are they really that old?

You do realise there's an early Sierra beside the R21 turbo? (Edit: I'm guessing it's yours, cos it's next to the Citroën camper. So yes, you would know. Durr...I r idiot.)

The Figaro is a charming wee thing, but the prices of them are incredible. The boxy thing at the top is another Micra derivative I think; can't remember the name of it though!
