Hanomag Diesel record car.

 

February 1939 it achieved four world records on the Autobahn near Dessau. The top speed was 165 kph.

The car was destroyed during the war, but it is currently being re-created.

This is possible, because the oily bits are from a Hanomag production car and the drawings have survived.
