...I came across this beauty. A tastefully re-imagined Ferrari 512

Yours for a mere £42,000. Yes, you read that right, £42,000. In 1985.

Start up your time machines now.

Whatever their business plan was it didn't go well as I'm sure there are no garages there now.

11 BOW is currently insured and on a Bentley Continental R according to ASKMID but it does not seem to show up on Dooovla? Is there another name for Bentley I am not thinking of?

Sloans garage was at the end of my garden! The building burnt down around '87, I remember it well as I could see the smoke from the middle school playground as I was playing marbles/kiss chase/slam. There was a TV repair company in the top floor and my next door neighbour helped the two guys working there to escape out of the window and slide down to safety using aerial cable.

I'll try to find photos.

The first two floors (it was a four/five story old mill building) were later renovated and turned into a cafe by the slightly famous eccentric inventor Wilf Lunn.

I don't remember ever seeing that car though.

I do remember adverts in CAR magazine and the like for various Koenig specials. Some of them were mental. Properly mad mechanical and bodywork upgrades. I seem to recall a twin turbo Testarossa.

Found this.

I bet they are the people that set up a Ferrari garage in Meltham as it opened around the late 80's. Of all places it was at the back of the co-op, they spread to a rew other garages but are gone now

The funny thing is that I wouldn't give you £42.00 for that car, I think they're ugly, tasteless, chavvy, and invariably driven by prize bellends. And that applies to new Lambos and Ferraris too.
