What a grim looking place.

 

What happened?  Has Berlin become the European Detroit?

Totally opposite...most popular place in Europe to live....the cheapest..best services...and its not grim..its original...[.if you want nice streets and shadey lanes....pay the 600000squid necessary..whilst your local Tory council closes the library]..Berlin is a gigantic park..and super bicycle friendly...plus u can smoke in pubs and eat great food for 3euro...London?..no way....i havent heard one complaint about this place since being here.

That Fiat camper based on the Uno pick-up thing is fantastic and actually looks quite usable rather than hopelessly shit. Shame to see that those ex-fire brigade Transits are starting to look a bit ropey now that they're out of service but it's to be expected, guess - nowt lasts forever. Is that Merc 308 fire van still in active service, or decommissioned? Just wondering whether they hoik all the stickers off before disposing, or it might start getting a bit confusing.

The end of my  German adventure.Back to Scotland in two days...so finished off with a wee local classic car show that also had a lot of tractors...which i nearly preferred,,..first few are spots in drier weather
