Fab-tastic!    c.1966 I reckon.   Must  have  been something going on with all those friendly rozzers about.   Wonder if  they spotted that tripod going the wrong way about 2 minutes  in.   Camera car is a rather  unsteady A60 Cambridge.   That Taunus looks really out of  place with all the 50s British stuff around it....

Looks like the town centre has been re-planned for traffic and the film car is testing the different routes, possibly checking for mistakes. No computer simulated models then, though the idea of a planned scale model and pushing Dinky toys around it is much more appealing.

Doh...should  have realised there was a soundtrack.   I was  too busy watching it to Shadows LPs.  Ah well, it worked for me.....

I enjoy looking out for 'the foreigner' in these sort of films. Didn't see the Taunus, but I clocked the Beetle and the Fiat 500. The Reliant coming the wrong way was amusing.

1965 or 66 I reckon. Terrible driver, I thought he was going to run the guy over on the zebra crossing. Also confirmed to me that sixties town planners should be jailed for crimes against humanity.
