The Shite you most regret Weighing in....

Only bridged 1 car - Dolly Sprint....... I persevered (while working away in another country) piecemeal but it was a badly repaired crashed shell write off with wob front slam panel, splash panel and various chicken wire sill 'repairs' that just depressed me every time I touched it.

Second would have been a Mk1 Renault19 16v - went like a scalded cat but I wasnt' in the UK so it sat for long periods.... I got my arms ripped off by a young lad after offering it up for £300 in the local rag. Hopefully it lived a while longer - I did love driving that thing.

Lost my fleet when I left the ex - she reported the lot dumped (I was out of country again) - so it was all towed. Costs to get them all back were horrendous and I was stuffed....... her parting shot was a blinder!

64 Taunus Transit of blue forum fame - but then with 300TD engine as car hauler.

86 RS1600i - ex swiss import - lovely bit of kit.

8? Isuszu piazza Turbo - ex Alcyone of this parish....

88 Pajero Shogun Mk1 V6 - tow beauty

75 Fiat 127 - literally had it 4 days, just delivered before I left for work.

91 Celsior 400 - ex wuvvum - took me all over Europe and was immense. One of the best cars I ever owned.....

All gone because I walked away from a cheating psycho - should have seen this one coming I suppose........

EDIT - the Viva HB sitting at her folks place too - forgot that one!

Ah, so that's where I know you from!

It was technically a 1986 Piazza - there were no 1987 model UK cars because of a row with the importer.

Last time we spoke about that car you said it got damaged by a forklift then stolen when the barn was broken into.

It never did donate its running gear to that Spitfire in the end....

Yup - that's the one - Damage was 'mover' from lockup to the big barn I found - the barn was 'broken into' - but I later found out the contents were duly parked outside by the ex (and helper) and then reported dumped......... not still seething over that - not at all.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? So this was after you spoke to me at RRG?

Harsh times. Still better than dealing with armed Belgian police, though.

Never weighed a car in but sold a MK1 polo (my first road legal car) to a mate for £11 after it shat a conrod. His old man cut it up because he got a MK2. I have tried every way to get the registration off it until recent times, now it's impossible as it no longer physically exists, DVLA still hold details of it though... Tormenting me every time I visit the site and put the reg in... grrrr... I need to let go...

A 1985 205 GTI 1.6, likely one of the first into the country, I near completed its resto but split with the wife and had to get it out of the garage, they were worth fuck all in 2004 so it got scrapped for £15

There's a few I have sold on that I regret but none of what I've weighed in - if they've gone over the bridge it's because they're just not worth spending the money on, and most of them went after all the good bits were removed and sold on to keep other ones on the road.
