Clutch problems Hyundai Tucson

Having just finally sold my OH's Megane (and then almost dislocating my arm with repeated air punching as I watched it being driving away) I have replaced it with a '05 2.0 petrol Hyundai Tucson. When I took it for a test drive it was hard to change gear as it felt like the clutch was dragging, the garage promised they would have it sorted for the following week when I could pick the car up with a new MOT.

When I picked it up yesterday I asked them what was wrong with the clutch and they said it just needed bleeding which they had done.  Sure enough the gear change is much better and I checked today that the car won't drive forward whilst the clutch is fully depressed, however you have to put the clutch right to the carpet to change gear and it starts biting just off the floor. Also if you take your foot off the pedal quickly with the gearbox in neutral the pedal rises up slower than your foot, if you know what I mean.

The place I bought it from is an hour away from where I live and I'm sure if I do take it back they will just say it's fine, hence why I would like to resolve it myself, does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Still needs a bit more bleeding I reckon. Some are a test to bleed.

Renault trafic I'm looking at you.

Bleeder lower than the pipe in !

Could I try my trusted gunson one man bleed kit on it?

If it's still full of fluid it might have a dodgy seal letting air in, this could be at either end, master cylinder or slave.

A trick we often used for bleeding awkward clutches on coaches was a washer bottle with pump attached and push the fluid back up the system from the bleeder.

If the pedal feels firm then it may not be the hydraulics but in fact the fact that the clutch needs to be replaced.

These things never 'just need bleeding', if the hydraulics have got air in its cos there is a seal on its way out somewhere, they might well have bled it but whatever caused it to need bleeding is likely still present. I'd be inspecting the clutch hydraulics for signs of leaks.
