Insurance quandrificationism

I really cant afford to get the Coupe on the road this year so I was thinking if SORNing the Corsa for the summer and using the Coupe.

When the MOT on the Corsa expires at the end of August, my thought was to get it back on the road and SORN the Coupe again.

From experience, both cost about 400 to insure. Is there a way that I could change the car on the insurance policy in May and then swap back over come October?

Thought I'd ask as most members seem to have several, or lots of cars.

Would it not just be more cost effective to keep both insured on the same policy?

You should be able to normally change the car on the policy but they may sting you with an "admin" charge of around £25 or so each time you make the change.

Some company's will and some wont swap vehicles. I've done it a few times for a a score or so admin costs. Like ya man says, it may well be ok to whack them both on the same policy though insurance is a law unto itself!

Adrian Flux charged me a £25 admin fee to swap the red Princess for the Golf.  Interestingly* they told me that the Princess is a good bit cheaper than the Golf to insure but I couldn't convince them to give me a rebate or reduction on my payments to reflect this.  From memory, the Princess is about £250 where the Golf was £700 for the same fully comp policy.

Hmm, currently pay Flux 46 quid p/m for the Corsa and they've had the Coupe before too. Think I'll buzz Swinton specialist something or other as the Chevy is insured with their standard car mob and see how much it would be for both.
