Ghosty Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 http://www.petrolicious.com/wistfully-watching-my-dream-collection-go-to-auction Found this link on Tumblr, it's about a rich old Italian bloke with a hangar full of pristine Alfas, even an Arna! All sold now because he got married, but the pictures are just great. NorfolkNWeigh and srad34 2
mercrocker Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Blimey there's an Ondine in there too! I hope that girl was worth it....
barrett Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I was at this sale (briefly), there was some really nice stuff there for sure, but the prices were insane (like everything that sold this weekend). I think the Arna made more than 4000 Euros which must make it the most expensive Arna ever. The best thing was the sheddy Giulia 105 van and the 'Sud, red with a blue interior. You just don't see colour schemes like that anymore.

srad34 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Gibber, I could lose days in that warehouse!
NorfolkNWeigh Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I'm not usually a fan of the Latin Rusting Devices, but, that white 2600 Berlina would be welcome in my fantasy Italian section alongside an Aurelia GT and a 250 Lusso .Wonder what a 27 year old found so attractive about this ageing multi millionaire, you'd have thought it was his love of tatty old Alfas, but she's making him sell them.
Junkman Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I hope that girl was worth it.... No. It will be a terrible time for him when he comes to his senses in a week or so. tooSavvy, mercrocker and Banger Kenny 3

I guess you can't be that choosy as I'd guess they aren't common even in Italy these days.
