vulgalour Posted November 26, 2024 Author Posted November 26, 2024 For the first time ever, I have created a video on the art making process so if you want to know exactly what goes into these pieces, then this is the video for you. There will be a second part covering inking and colouring, which is considerably longer. As I learn what I need to edit out, these will likely be shorter in the future. RayMK, JeeExEll, CaptainBoom and 2 others 5

Thanks for this, really interesting and you have incredible skill. One day I hope I can afford for you to do one of my cars. I will try to find on the tv YouTube as can’t seem to find how to like & subscribe with my phone. Brilliant stuff though👍 vulgalour 1

vulgalour Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 Every year I create a hearse picture, usually in October, and for 2024 I opted to go for the Volvo PV61. Various coachbuilders provided the rear body and trim, while Volvo would supply a commercial rolling chassis and front sheet metal that was shared with the PV60 car. Hints of Pontiac are present, showing the influence America had on so many manufacturers at the time. Predates me doing art videos this one. Original art here: https://www.angyl.co.uk/shop/p/volvo-pv61-hearse-original-artwork Prints are available here: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/167010997 IronStar, Zelandeth, LightBulbFun and 1 other 4
vulgalour Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 Known by different names in different markets, here in the UK it’s the Suzuki Vitara. A car that was the height of fashion in the early nineties and a surprisingly capable little offroader if needed, although you likely wouldn’t go green laning if you had the Fatboy kit like this one. Original art here: https://www.angyl.co.uk/shop/p/suzuki-vitara-original-artwork Prints available here: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/167011196 eddyramrod, LightBulbFun, IronStar and 2 others 5
vulgalour Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 A very sharp bit of design work that is often criticised for being less than it was ever designed to be. In cabriolet form it’s a smart little people’s car ready for some sunshine cruising. Original art here: https://www.angyl.co.uk/shop/p/yugo-45-cabriolet-original-artwork Prints available here: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/167011544 Zelandeth, IronStar, LightBulbFun and 4 others 7
Zelandeth Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 I really do need to get around to commissioning something from you. Trabant is probably my current front runner - which would probably be an interesting challenge in that some of the proportions are so damned odd. I always enjoy the negative space style, and I'm toying whether it could suit that. LightBulbFun 1
vulgalour Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 It probably would, the Trabant has some good strong black elements and it's a really distinctive shape. It's also one of the cheaper options.
vulgalour Posted December 18, 2024 Author Posted December 18, 2024 Another piece is underway. The original art is already available to Patrons: https://www.patreon.com/c/NoExpenseSpent Prints will be up in the shop in the near future.
vulgalour Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Our first new item in the shop for 2025 is this Buick Super Eight custom, done in a fifties style and finished in baby pink with a single gold tooth. vulgalour Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 2014 Volkswagen Beetle illustration, ink on bristol board. Original Art: https://www.angyl.co.uk/shop/p/2014-volkswagen-beetle Prints (got copyright striked, reuploaded it): https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/168811474 I post to most locations worldwide. worldofceri, CaptainBoom and Zelandeth 3
vulgalour Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 This commission was right up my alley. The customer wanted a little car inspired by the Microdot (designer: William Towns) and modernised so that it would suit a cyberpunk sort of world. I had so much fun working on this piece for them and figuring out how to bring their idea to life. This is a traditional media piece completed in ink on bristol board. Commission info: https://www.angyl.co.uk/work/commissions Zelandeth, Morris 63 and Mrs6C 3

Funky typeface for the badging as well which also lends itself to inclusion. Of course I can't find a decent photo of it right now. Really need to drop you a message to arrange that. vulgalour 1
vulgalour Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 I am currently open for new work having completed a few commissions in January. Quotes are free.
vulgalour Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 Annoyingly the VW Beetle piece got a copyright strike, as is so often the case with anything even vaguely resembling VAG products over on RedBubble. I reuploaded it with a super generic description. We've got a Vauxhall Tigra arriving next. The good people on Patreon have already seen the finished article, but you'll have to wait a bit.... unless you become one of those people of course which you can do here: https://www.patreon.com/NoExpenseSpent JMotor 1
vulgalour Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 I'm also currently OPEN for new commissions, more info here: https://www.angyl.co.uk/work/commissions
vulgalour Posted Wednesday at 10:16 Author Posted Wednesday at 10:16 I've got so much original art looking for a home, treat yourself or someone you love with something. https://www.angyl.co.uk Every piece is hand crafted by me, a human! How novel. I also post art creation videos on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuTF_ZOKUX0&list=PLXyFRjxdjpzjBNM8YBxucZ67DqY1DW_Um
vulgalour Posted Saturday at 11:36 Author Posted Saturday at 11:36 The Tigra has now escaped Patreon quarantine and the original artwork is available in the shop. It's also available as prints via Redbubble. Original: https://www.angyl.co.uk/shop/p/vauxhall-tigra-original-art Prints: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/168921047 CaptainBoom 1
