This old lump has to go, a guy I know who buys and sells allsorts offered me 1.5K but if anyone here wants it then shout, but I'm afraid you'll have to be quick as tax runs out very soon and it's on the road so I'll have to accept the fellows offer soon. I assume the MOT is out but I'll check, not turned a wheel since last MOT while I've been hoping to find time to play with it, but it's not happening. It looks a state, filthy, but under the skin is pretty good, almost completely overhauled, engine had a proper 2K rebuild and is just run in, bristling with new parts, all the rare hard to find stuff, overdrive has a noisy bearing which could be sorted by fitting the spare gearbox that's in the boot, and it will probably need towing unless draining stale fuel and pissing around with cleaning electric fuel pump contacts by the side of the road is your thing.

Yes should have mentioned it's the 3L six, which is my preference but to the rest of the world is unclean, 'OMG that is so ghey you want the playdoh V8'

The tax is out in 5 days so will have to be gone otherwise I'm sure some curtain twitching locals will be delighted to arrange for the DVLA to lift it. The tyres are modern radials, funny size so had to get Korean made ones for it, I didn't do many miles on them but they behaved well. MOT ran out last Feb

Lovely. Six-cylinder is the way to go with these. V8s have horribly over-assisted steering.

Nowt wrong with the V6. Not everything needs a V8, especially in Shiteland. The V6 gives enough low torque in these circumstances and 1.5K is very reasonable for the whole shebang.

The car is in my brothers care at the moment, I was to ring a guy who was quite keen for it but now have reservations, there's a question as to whether he consorts with some elliptical course followers from down the food chain. So I gave the keys and £100 to my brother, maybe he can get it legal and make himself some money, not expecting much to happen other than him to enjoy some booze and charlie while car doesn't turn a wheel, two days later it's got T&T and he's got some friend of a friend interested who used to own one, jammy git, he added petrol and jump leads and the thing fired straight up. Now where's my good luck.
