Wanted. Somewhere to store my motah

At present I keep the beige beauty in a lock up rented from the council. I need out. The lockup has now become unuseable due to a perpetualy leaking roof which the council's finest seem unable to sort. This is compounded by the fact that the lockup is not in the most desirable area of town, so some bear wrestling is sometimes required & one of the residents keeps parking his LWB sprinter / 7.5T truck in the marked no parking area in front making access difficult.

 

I have placed ads on gumtree. Any other suggestions? I want to move as this is seriously pissing me off.

I feel your pain for I also have a council lock up, although luckily, my roof doesn't leak. Swap BMW X5 for Merc Sprinter.

 

Good luck with your search, although it might be worth a go and asking the suitable council person if you can swap/move garages. My lot helped.

A swap is sort of an option. I know this sounds daft considering what I said above, but I actually sort of like it as it has a wee bit of room outside for me to work & it is flat & level. The car is out of the lockup & is in another I rent, but not so  good for tinkering.

 

Still no reply on Gumtree.

It's probably a bit out of the way but I can get outdoor storage in a locked yard in Lochgelly for £20 a month,  the yard houses a few workshops and is open during the day so may not be ideal.
