Just bought another Safrane V6 RXE with a XR25!

This is a result,i,ve just bought another Safrane V6 RXE with a gearbox fault,the car is roadworthy(only 4 left on the road)and i own 2 of them!

I,ve done a deal with the seller and bought an XR25 with it(the computer box which attaches to it to check things)and it has the latest cassette number,we have one at work and still use it on the older Renaults.

Not sure what to do with the car,i,am at bursting point,would like to put it away out of sight etc,but garages are expensive down south.

Only 2 left to find,i know one is in Northampton,its a grey one,the other might be a silver one in Glocs....

Yes i can repair it as i have several AD8 gearbox spares and 2 complete boxes,but i want to what else is wrong first...

Delivery on Monday hopefully.

Congrats on the purchase and saving a rare car. French V6s are ace !  Good luck on fixing the gearbox. Do take some pics when you haul the oily bits out of the car - no doubt the sight of a gearbox in pieces would scare the pants off the rest of us.

9000uk recovery services to the rescue again. If I remember I will take photos. Should be fun getting it loaded as it only goes backwards I think! Might just winch the bugger straight on.  Am I collecting any other bits btw Dave? If I remember half the goodies were missing from the other one I collected for you
