post-3472-0-06518300-1373716405_thumb.jpgDear All,

I've been away from Autoshite for some time, owing to work madness, training courses and what my employers call "re-direction & orientation" (very 1984...)  Anyhow, I am firmly back "in the room" now and have my daughter's 1995 Mini Cooper up for grabs. If anyone's interested please PM me and I'll supply more info, but for the time being here's the advertising splurge I've produced: Oh, and my daughter's looking for £3K (ish!)

Here is your chance to buy a piece of motoring history.... 'Coz it doesn't get much better than this!

This is a 1995 Rover Mini Cooper 1275, in British Racing Green, with a white roof and a factory fitted sliding canvas sunroof (a rare option!)

The car has covered 75880 miles as at its last M.O.T. on 4th July, with NO advisories and has not been driven since. Before this the car was off the road for 3 months, during which time it has been refurbished by me. This refurbishment has consisted of the following:

1/  Head gasket replaced.

2/  Engine head refurbished; valve seals replaced, valves re-lapped and head lightly skimmed.

3/  All tappets re-set to 0.3 mm upon engine re-building.

4/  New water pump fitted.

5/  New alternator fitted.

6/  New brake calipers fitted.

7/  New brake pads fitted.

8/  New constant velocity gaiters fitted.

9/  New steering rack gaiters fitted.

10/Four new tyres fitted; these tyres have covered less than a mile since being balanced & fitted.

11/New sills fitted to both sides.

12/Competition downpipe fitted.

13/Both upper balljoints replaced.

14/Both bottom balljoints re-shimmed.

15/Up-rated electrics; relays fitted to operate lights.

16/Four extra lamps fitted to the front of the car; two spot lamps & two fog lamps (genuine Rover ones) Switching fitted to dash-board to accommodate these extra lights.

17/Twin horns fitted.

18/New battery fitted.

19/New thermostat, gasket and rocker cover gasket fitted.

20/New spark plugs fitted.

21/New engine mounts fitted and engine tiebar bushes fitted.

22/ K&N air filter fitted.

23/New indicator & wiper switchgear fitted.

There may be more items I've fitted or work that I've done, but the above is what I can remember! Where possible parts are genuine Austin Rover/Unipart, mostly bought from The Mini Spares Centre, of Potters Bar.

I shall let the photos speak for themselves, but please feel free to contact me by email if you have any questions. The log book is available, showing my daughter as the current owner, on whose behalf I am selling it!

Not quite! It eventually sold for £2,400 which isn't too bad, all things considered.
