Any interest? MOT till july, tax till february.

Currently just over 52k on the clock. Has been uber reliable but the fiesta will be on the road for the 7th of october and that will cut my weekly fuel bill by half freeing up funds for the cortinas ( my first loves).

Bad points.

* 4"inch crack in bottom of the windscreen, which is also delaminating about two thirds of the way around.

* Blowers don't work as of last tuesday, don't think this is a fuse i think the motor is fucked as it's been a little squealy the whole time i've had it.

* It will need pads and discs in the near future (again squealy but only from the front left, so i'm thinking sticky caliper as she brakes straight and true)

* Pulls to the left slightly (see above)

* Radio "works" but there's no reception, which is bizarre as it has two aerials....which are both seemingly fucked.

* Every panel has angry ex-wife (not mine) damage. Wings are repairable as are quarters, but doors-bonnet-and bootlid would need to be replaced.

* She's thirsty, computer says 22.2 mpg average, i don't like to believe it.......but it's probaly true.

Good bits: Yes there are some, many in fact.

* Super reliable

* M30B35 engine, which is quiet and oil tight.

* Had it's last service done by me at 48,000 miles every service previous to this has been done by main dealers/BMW specialists. With the stamped service books to verify.

* Current mileage only 52.5K with service/MOT history to prove.

* Tyres have loads of tread, ths is important as they're 240/45x415 metrics which cost £drybumrape

* Recently refurbished alloys with polished rims

* Spare wheel has never been fitted and is in as new condition

* The radio is a blaupunkt new york, which is apparently desirable and comes with all it's original paperwork.

* the interior is immaculate with no rips or tears or staining.

* Most of the elecricals work eg, windows, sunroof, seats etc

* Four good replacement doors are available.

* MOT till 17/07/2014

* Tax till 31/01/14

* Very fast, and handles suprisingly well for such a big barge.

* Has a good turning circle, so it's easy to park.

* Not as massive as it looks, about the same size as a current 5-series (i'm kinda clutching at straws now)

* No one cuts you up, as you look like you've just left a ukrainian gang war.

* It's just awesome.....

 

 

I'd like this to find a good home, but the reality is it's worth more in bits than i'm asking for it, so my salvation of it is likely only a stay of execution.

As some of you may know, my recent unplanned purchase of yet another cortina, combined with the fiesta getting VIC checked next week, my tiny drive way having a Lupo wedged on it yadda yadda yadda this needs to be gone.
