Hello all,

Does someone by any chance know what this plug is for?

Found in the footwell of a post 1973 Mini Cooper, so I haven't got the foggiest.

It could be the interface for the flux capacitator for all I know.

I'm tempted to dip it in water and see what starts smoldering.

No, dip it into your wallet. It will take what it needs.

This is not my hand, it's not my plug, it's not my Mini and I rather fuggin walk before I buy shit like this.

Tis the neighbors lad who should be sent to war and machinegunned for his hands, newfangled shit and choice of vehicular transport, for all I care.

I recognise it - it's a "thundergrubber Type C", with the extra central adaptor interfoot,

- haven't you come across these before in foot deep wells ?

it stops the water from overflowing when it reaches the top of the well....

I'd probably guess its something to do with a hands free kit judging by the circular connector in the middle which is for the aerial.
