Anyone want my S80? it's the 2.5D in comfy, lazy, giffermatic spec.

It's a lovely car to drive and I don't want to sell it, but I need to clear space for other, now roadworthy, tat; mk2 Scirocco & Galant Sapporo.

This large Swede has the VAG 5-pot diesel engine and has served me well for the last 6 months or so. I need to clear space (12 cars is too many) so it's up for sale, and no trades. Since I've had it it's had new pads, suspension bushes, track rod ends and tyres.

It's got ABS (working) cruise control (working) aircon (working) dual zone climate, full leather interior, heated front seats. Factory CD & tape player with lots of speakers and controls on the steering wheel. The only issue I am aware of is a faulty alarm siren, common problem on these, but remote locking etc works fine. The bodywork is reasonable with the odd age related mark, theres a small dent on the bonnet that may push out, but to me the car was a workhorse so I never bothered.

I've some history from before my ownership, which indicates the cambelt & waterpump were done @ 83k, the interval on these is 80k, so it's not due for a while.

This is one of the most comfortable cars I've driven. I regularly do 300+ miles a day in it without worry and get out at the other end still feeling fresh. The autobox and cruise control makes long distances a breeze.

You may think the price is a tad high, but please note that everything on the car works (except the alarm siren) and it has T&T until November, that's about £150 worth of tax. If the asking price is met I will include a set of 15" steel wheels with winter tyres on.

More/better pics on request.

Beautiful car, looks like it´s a lot better equipped then mine. Absolutely mega-cheap (compared to Euro-land) too.

I bet this will sell quite fast.

Cheres guys, it is a nice barge and I wasn't planning on selling it, hence putting a full years tax on it last November.

Reality occasionally hits me though, so it's the less comfy Bora for my daily use :(

Lukas: are you sure you couldn't live with a rhd car, if you were exporting it the tax could be cashed in to make it cheaper.

RichardMoss : I'm sure delivery to UAE could be arranged ;)

If I wasn't working, you'd cover diesel, and I could avoid all the war zones I'd love to drive it over there to you :D

A few bits I forgot to mention. I was intending on keeping this car, so quite recently it's had new fitted car mats, wind deflectors on the front windows and a re-usable air filter which will save you £7 every service. The filter is a pipercross panel filter which can be blown through with an air line to clean it, it's in the factory airbox. The tyres are all matching and have 4-6mm of tread on them, so good for a while.

SOLD - for asking price, to the first person to see the car.

Cheers Joe, I can't grumble, I did 22k miles in the car and sold it for slightly more than I paid for it ;)

It went to a lovely couple who spotted it on the pistonheads bargains thread (linked to Volvo forum).

They were after something more comfortable than a smart for commuting .... and the 750iL they arrived in wasn't really suitable for the job.
