Albert I can't help thinking GM is flushing a huge captive market away there, plenty of trades who don't fancy a noddy van or a L200 Devildog special edition.

Better an estate than a van then you can go to any tip as often as you need to without arsing about with permits.

That's a good point about tips. Also, estates are far superior in terms of visibility. I find my BX estate massively useful - having rear side doors is good too, otherwise you've got to clamber in from the tailgate end to reach stuff that's right up against the bulkhead/folded seats.

Aye, the Lankytim family love their Mk4 Astra est! It swallows loads of stuff and is tip friendly, plus you can get more than 2 people in it.
